“Let’s wait and see what happens”.
😲
We all have said or heard this phrase but what does it really mean?
It is a phrase used when there is uncertainty about a situation we desire more information to make a confident decision.😶🌫️
“Let’s wait and see what happens” it also helps us park the stress that comes with the situation and lets us delay making a decision. That is just normal human behavior.
👍
With the current housing market, this phrase has become commonplace with both home buyers and homeowners.
If this sounds familiar, I want to share with you 2 steps that will help you feel more confident with whatever decision you make.
The 1st step is easy.:
Whatever you desire your housing needs to be in 1-3-10+ years, write it down, describe it clearly, and add the specific “WHY” component.
The 2nd step is harder: 🤔
What do things need to look like for you to feel more confident with your decision? You see here we say ” I want to see what happens with interest rates, the economy, the home prices, etc”. What does that mean for you? If interest rates go up? Down? Stay flat? What will happen with step one? These need to be dissected thoroughly and they are all answerable.
Why this is hard is because there are no right or wrong answers – the answers only need to make sense for you and the stage of life your in.
This process will replace the phrase “let’s wait and see what happens” with clarity. 😎
If you uncover that staying put, moving down moving up moving out of state is best for you – that is awesome. I say that because you will feel incredibly confident and comfortable with your decision and that’s the goal.
If you have some questions about your scenario – feel free to book a 15 min call down below and I would love to discuss.
